• • The Centre today approved an investment of Rs 1,350 crore to Andhra Pradesh for improvement of basic urban infrastructure under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) over the next three fiscals.
• The Sports Ministry received a hike of ₹350 crore in the Union Budget, presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley yesterday.
Jaitley allocated a total of ₹1,943 crore to sports, compared to the ₹1,592 crore given last year.
• To augment income of farmers budget has proposed setting-up of a Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund with a corpus of Rs 8,000 crores over three years.
