• India's indigenous Light Combat Aircraft 'Tejas' will make its debut by flying past the Rajpath on the country's 67th Republic Day this year.
• The Union HRD Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar launched a dedicated web portal ‘ShaGun’ for the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at New Delhi .

• London’s insurance giant Lloyd has received the final approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) to set up its first branch at Mumbai.
• World Bank has sanctioned Rs 1,376 crore for upgradations and improvement of the Tripura power system network .
• Birender Singh Yadav concurrently accredited as the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Sierra Leone .
• The Union Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) led by Dr. Harsh Vardhan commissioned a very high resolution of 12km global deterministic weather prediction model, Ensemble Prediction System (EPS), that will be used to generate operational weather forecasts.
• ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has acquired 8.41 per cent stake in Fino Paytech Ltd (FPL) for a total consideration of Rs 100 crore.
