 • The limit on withdrawals from ATMs has been enhanced from the current limit of Rs.4,500 to Rs.10,000 per day per card (It will be operative within the existing overall weekly limit).


 • India has rank 92nd on the global index of talent competitiveness that measures how countries grow, attract and retain talent, a list topped by Switzerland.


• N Chandrasekaran, Chairman designate of Tata Sons, has inaugurated the Kohli Research Block at the International Institute of Information Technology at Gachibowli.


• Pentavalent Bio Sciences Pvt Ltd from Bengaluru has emerged the winner at the Tata Social Enterprise Challenge 2016-17.


• Kozhikode Corporation was declared as the first Elderly-Friendly Corporation in Kerala. The state government has planned to setup Senior citizen’s club, Day care centres as a part of Vayomitram project for the welfare of the elder people in the state.


• China has handed over two ships to Pakistan Navy to ensure joint security along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the Gwadar port. The ships named Hingol and Basol gets its name from nearby rivers in Pakistan.


• Mysuru Printing Press Breaks Record by Printing Highest No. of Currency Notes in a Month.It printed 10.9 million currency note in a day that even broke the world record made an American currency printing press of printing 8.7 million notes in a day.


• India Signs Financing Agreement with World Bank for US$ 48 Million for “Nagaland Health Project”



• The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has formed a 8 member committee headed by Amitabh Chaudhry, CEO of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company to review life insurance product regulations.
