---------------------------------------------------------------------------

SOLUTION

1. (a) 873620
Net Population Increase = 6.3-1.8 = 4.5%
Required Population = 800000*1.045*1.045 = 873620

Alternate :-
Net Population Increase = 6.3-1.8 = 4.5%
100----(after 1year)-->104.5 ---> (after 2 year)-->(109.2025)
Now, Unitary method:-
100 ------------becomes---> 109.2025
8,00,000 will become = 109.2025*800000/100 = 873620
More easy as calculation becomes easier :)

2. (c) 3700,6300
Let CP of first and second be x and y respectively.
ATQ:-
x+y = 10000…(i)
18x/100 – 10y/100 = 36
18x-10y = 3600…(ii)
Solving we get,
x= 3700 and y = 6300

3. (c) 16 days.
2M+5W = 4250/17 = 250/day
7M+8W = 6281/11 = 571/day
Solving, we get M= 45/day, and W = 32/day
Therefore, 6M+9W= 270+288 = 558/day.
In X days they earned 8928.
Therefore, 558*X = 8928
X= 8928/558 = 16 days.

4. (e) 3600 km
Let the speed be X km and actual Time taken = Y hrs.
Distance = XY km
ATQ:-
XY = (X+12)(Y-15).
== > 12Y-15X = 180 or 4Y-5X = 60.
Also, XY = (X-12)(Y+25)== > 25X-12Y = 300
Solving both we get,
X= 48 and Y = 75
Hence, Distance = XY = 48*75 = 3600

5. (c) Rs. 160
Let CP be X, Profit = 50%
SP = 1.5X
1.5X-80 = X
0.5X = 80 or X = 160

6. (e) None of these (2.33 km)
Perimeter = Distance Travelled
== > Distance travelled = Speedx Time = 7x20/60 = 2.33 km

7. (e) 2880
5consonant + 4 vowel = > 5!*4! = 120*24 = 2880

8. (c) 36000
Share of Profit = Amt invested * time
A= 14000x4+ 16000x20 = 376000
B= 12000x2+ 10000x18 = 204000
C= 20000x18 = 360000
Ratio of share = 376:204:360
C’s Share = 94000x360/940 = 36000.

9. (c) 12 years
Let Haritika and harshit age be x and y respectively
xy= 240
2x-4 =y
X(2x-4) = 240
2x^2- 4x-240 = 0
Solving we get x= 12,-20
Hence, Haritika’s age = 12 years.

10. (c) 800 liter
Efficiencies of A , B and C are given
Together they have efficiency = A+B-C= 42+56-48 = 50 liter/hr
Time = 16 hrs
Capacity = 16x50 = 800 liter

Easy Way To Remember All Current Affairs

A lot of people have asked me, How to prepare for Current Affairs for the Bank & Insurance Exams. So here are 3 Ways to Study and Remember Current Affairs.

Before I begin you have to remember a few things:
  1. In order to remember Banking Awareness, always make sure your CONCEPT is clear.
  2. Always be on track. Never miss reading current affairs more than 2 weeks.
  3. Always discuss current affairs with other aspirants.
  4. Always extract the STOCK GKs (Places, Dance forms, State related GKs) from Current Affairs.

Method 1 - The Newspaper Factory

In this method, you have to memorize General Knowledge and Current Affairs by writing them down while studying. Make some research about the topic, person, event and collect some photos as it will help you to memorize the story. Write them like a journal, read them in leisure, research on the topics. This method is lengthy but its pretty much fruitful for students who read and memorize.

Method 2 - The Vedic Approach

Have you ever wondered how Vedas, Upanishads were memorized? SRUTI as we know. Many of us find it easy to remember anything when we hear it. For example, many of us easily sing the Dhinchak Bollywood songs without any hesitation. It is because of the “Sruti” method. So while you read the stories, record them in your cellphone. Later, listen to them as much as possible. If you are feeling weird about hearing your own voice then just tell your mom to read and record, Mother’s voice is the best.

METHOD 3 - My Way, My Rule

Yes, if none of them work, there has to be a way you can study. Every human being can create their own ways of doing things. This is what Survival theory of nature is. Try to find out.

But always listen to other methods because you never know which one works out for you.
